1. Ford Mansion and Museum: Both Washington’s Headquarters Museum & the Ford Mansion will be open on Monday, May 25th (Memorial Day). The museum will open from 9:30 am to 5:0d0 pm & tours of the mansion will be at 10 & 11am and 1, 2, 3, & 4pm. Admission is $4.00 & includes the tour.  Normal Hours are Wednesday – Sunday! 9-5PM.

Visit the Morris Museum: Formally “Twin  Oaks”, this gilded age mansion is home to the “Musical Machines & Living Dolls: Mechanical Musical Instruments and Automata from the Guinness Collection”  The museum also boasts a permanent collection of more than 40,000 objects ranging from rocks and minerals to model trains, as well as one of the country’s largest collections of mechanical musical instruments and automata. It is also the home of the Bickford Theatre, which presents a variety of plays, concerts, and other performances throughout the year.

3. mcccMacculloch Hall Historical Museum: An 1810 historic house museum with period rooms, changing exhibits & gardens, featuring the nation’s largest collection of original art by political cartoonist Thomas Nast. Regular hours: Wed, Thurs & Sun.  1 – 4pm.  Office: M-F 9am – 4pm (closed Sunday, May 24, 2015 in honor of Memorial Day). 4. ifccVisit  the beautiful gardens at the Frelinghuysen Arboretum! The George Griswold Frelinghuysen Arboretum is an arboretum located at 53 East Hanover Avenue, Morristown, New Jersey.
